Hey guys!! So today I wanted to talk about Inside Out!
Like many children across the globe I was so excited when a new pixar film came out and this one happened to be Inside Out!
Since it is still currently Summer the Riverfront theatre in Newport have kids films showing throughout the six weeks and Inside Out was the last film. It was only £1.50 so I could not pass up the chance, having heard so much about it!
My snacks of choice this time were some strawberries and chocolate M&M's. I know you are thinking what a crazy combination but trust me it works!
We sat in the middle row (after walking past multiple people trying not to stand on their toes !!), sat down and the room went dark! This movie is about a little girl called Riley and how she builds new emotions in the struggle of moving to another city. Riley has five emotions
- Joy, Anger, Sadness, Fear and Disgust! Joy keeps Riley's memories happy and positive! Sadness is sad (the clue is in the name ) but she is the part of the brain that causes you to feel better after crying. When things go wrong Anger is there to let everyone know your angry. Fear is the scaredy cat of all the emotions and tells Riley to be scared of certain things so she is safe! And the last emotion is Disgust. She gives Riley advice and make decisions in her social and mental life so she doesn't have to. This is the perfect movie to represent emotions to little kids and for older kids like myself just to enjoy. My favorite emotion in this movie was Joy because she is so lively and excitable but I also liked Bingbong who isn't even an emotion but he was Riley's imaginary friend. Bingbong is a pink, candy floss, talking elephant that cries candy! What's not to love?! Because of how spectacular this movie was i would give it ........
5 stars!!I gave this movie five stars because of it's appeal to all ages of children and the inventive thinking behind it! After the movie we went to the park and got some ice cream!! (it was super yummy !)
